Use Moast with Shopify Sidekick

Ask Shopify Sidekick about your Moast content. Sidekick can search your Moast library by keyword, surface top-performing media, and pull all content linked to a specific product. Each result opens directly in Moast so you can review details, performance, and linked products.

Ask Sidekick to search your content

When Moast is installed, Sidekick can search your media library using natural language.

  1. Open Shopify Sidekick from your Shopify admin.

  2. Ask a question that describes the content you want. For example:

    • “Show me customer videos about my running shoes”

    • “Find photos that mention waterproof”

    • “Search my UGC for demo videos”

  3. Sidekick returns matching media cards. Review the title, AI-generated description, and quality score shown on each result.

  4. Click a result to open the media details page in Moast.

ℹ️ Results come from active, display-ready media only. Pending or rejected content does not appear.

View top-performing media

Ask Sidekick for your best shoppable content to surface media ranked by AI quality score and customer upvotes.

  1. In Sidekick, ask for top-performing content. For example:

    • “What’s our best shoppable video?”

    • “Show me the highest quality video for this product”

  2. Sidekick returns up to five top results by default. Results include the media preview, quality score, and linked product.

  3. Click any result to view it in Moast.

Find all media for a product

To see every shoppable photo or video attached to a specific product, reference the product name, handle, or paste its Shopify product ID.

  1. In Sidekick, ask for product-specific content. For example:

    • “Show me UGC for the Lunar Sneaker”

    • “Find all customer videos linked to gid://shopify/Product/1234567890”

  2. Sidekick returns every approved piece of media attached to that product.

  3. Click a result to open its detail page in Moast.

What you can include in your question

Sidekick supports:

  • Keyword search — matches descriptions, transcriptions, captions, and alt text.

  • Media type — ask specifically for photos, videos, or either.

  • Product scope — narrow results to a single product by name or Shopify product GID.

  • Result limit — Sidekick returns up to 10 results per query.

What the results mean

Each result card contains:

  • Media preview — thumbnail or preview of the video or image.

  • AI description — automatically generated description of the content.

  • Quality score — a 1–100 AI ranking based on content quality and engagement.

  • Linked product — the product tagged in the media, if any.

If no matching content is found, Sidekick will tell you that nothing matched rather than inventing results.
