As your programs head into the final stretch of the semester, our team has released several enhancements to help make your admin experience even more seamless. These updates focus on simplifying user onboarding, improving visibility into pending service logs, and giving more schools the ability to automate roster syncing—regardless of which SIS you use!
New Feature: Smart Sync
We’re excited to introduce Smart Sync, a new tool that streamlines user onboarding and ensures students and staff land in the right place from the start. When someone creates an account using an email that matches one of your approved domains, MobileServe will now automatically prompt them to join your organization’s appropriate sub-org—no manual cleanup required.
To activate Smart Sync, simply contact our support team (via in-app chat or email at support@mobileserve.org) with your organization’s domain(s), and we’ll enable the feature for you.
Note: Smart Sync applies to new users during account creation. Existing unaffiliated users will not receive a prompt.
Product Update: Users Tab Now Displays Pending Hours
We’ve enhanced the Users tab to give you better visibility into students who may need attention. In addition to approved hour totals, the table now includes a Pending Hours column—making it easier to quickly identify users with logs awaiting review.
As more organizations delegate approval responsibilities through custom user attributes, having this information readily available helps streamline your workflow and reduces the time needed to track down outstanding submissions.
New Feature: SFTP Roster Sync
We’ve expanded roster-syncing capabilities to support any SIS through our new SFTP Roster Sync option. While we continue to offer direct integrations with Blackbaud, Veracross, FACTS, and PowerSchool, SFTP sync allows you to automatically update your roster even if your school uses a different system.
