You can find all the activities students will work through during Self-Paced Work Time in the Self-Paced Student Activities portion of each Topic. While students work at their own pace, educators provide targeted support in small groups. Typically, students self-pace within one Topic, using their Student Checklist to guide them.
Use the links in each lesson to preview activities, then share materials with students by printing them or importing them to your Learning Management System (LMS).
What's in Self-Paced Student Activities?
Each lesson is organized by activity. Use the More Information dropdown within any lesson to review the objective and standards for each lesson.
Each activity includes an Activity Classification that tells students how they should approach the work:
Activity | Description |
Must Do (Independent) | Students must complete this activity on their own. |
Must Do (Collaborative) | Students must complete this activity with a partner or group. |
Aspire to Do (Collaborative) | Students can complete this activity with a partner or group. |
Here's what you'll find within each lesson:
Video & Notes: The instructional video and guided notes for the lesson. Includes Video Slides, Guided Notes, and a model video students can reference.
Practice Problems: The lesson's problem set. Available as a digital link. If you use workbooks, it will be noted if this set is in your student workbooks, if you have them.
Mastery Check: Used to assess whether students have mastered the content before moving on. Available as a digital link and in the workbook, if you have them.
Additional Practice: Extra practice for students who need it. Classified as Aspire to Do.
Due Dates: Due dates are visible within each lesson to help you stay on pace with your school or district pacing expectations.
