Completing the organization setup wizard

Complete the Modge organization setup wizard step by step: profile, members, monitoring, screenshots, timesheets, and pay period choices made the first time you sign in.

The setup wizard runs the first time you sign in as the owner of a new organization. It collects everything Modge needs to start your 14 day trial and create your organization. You can finish it in about five minutes.

Who can do this

Only the original owner who signed up sees the wizard. Other members do not.

The five steps

1. Welcome

A brief introduction to what the wizard will collect. Click Continue.

2. Organization details

Enter your organization name and pick a timezone. The timezone is used for every report, dashboard, and timesheet across Modge. Pick the timezone where most of your team works, or your headquarters.

3. Company size

Pick the band that matches your team. This helps Modge configure sensible defaults for seat count and policy templates. You can adjust seats later.

4. Plan

Choose a plan. Every new organization starts on a 14 day trial regardless of the plan you pick. You will not be charged until day 15.

5. Payment

Enter your payment details. Modge uses Stripe to handle billing. Your card is verified but not charged until the trial ends.

When you submit, you are taken to your dashboard with the Getting Started checklist open.

Saving your progress

The wizard saves your progress as you go. If you close the browser and come back later, you continue where you left off.

What happens after the wizard

You land on your dashboard with three onboarding tasks open: create your first project, configure your monitoring policies, and invite members. See The Getting Started checklist for new owners.

Changing what you entered
