You can add a shift in one of the following ways:
Click New Task.
Or Hover over a calendar cell and select Add Shift.
Choose the schedule creation method: Assorted Shifts or Rotation pattern. If you selected Assorted Shifts, complete the New Assignment form using the steps below.
Where: Select the schedule where the shifts should be created. A schedule represents a row in the project.
Select shifts: Select one or more shifts in the calendar. Choose individual shifts if you only need talents for a few specific days.
For long-term projects (weekly or monthly), you can select an entire weekday by clicking the weekday header, or select an entire week by clicking the week number. To deselect all shifts for a selected weekday or week, simply click the corresponding weekday or week number again.
Use the month and year navigation controls at the top of the calendar to switch between months and years.
Working hours
Set the start and end time for the shifts. The specified times will be applied to all selected shifts.
Select the number of talents required for each selected day. If you choose more than one, the system will create the corresponding number of shifts for that day in the schedule, as only one talent can be assigned to each shift.
Enable Total Hours Only if you want to invite and assign candidates based on the total number of working hours without specifying a start and end time.
Use Apply time to all days to apply the same working hours and breaks to all selected shifts.
Descriptions and notes
Add a Description for the talent. This note is visible to the talent and should include any important details or instructions about the shift.
Add Company Notes for internal use. These notes are only visible to the project team.
Invite talents immediately
When Invite Talent Immediately is enabled, proximity-based selection and the first-come, first-served feature are also activated.
This allows the system to automatically invite fully available talents within the selected geographical area. When first-come, first-served is enabled, the first talent to accept the invitation is automatically assigned to the shift.
Click Create to create the shift and automatically send invitations. If a talent has been invited automatically, you will see X invited displayed on the shift.
Update a shift
To update a shift, click More Actions (three dots) or click the shift time, then edit the working hours and the description for the talent.
Duplicate a shift
Click the + button below the shift to create a duplicate.
Remove a shift
To remove a shift, click More Actions and select Delete.
Important: You can only edit, duplicate, and delete shifts that you created yourself.
