Add basic information to your job

Learn how to add basic information to the job ad correctly.

Jobs created from template, draft or previous posting

All the fields for such jobs will be prefilled with the information from template, draft or previous job. So what you have to do is just to verify the information and update it wherever needed an click Go Live button. And the job is out.

Jobs created from scratch

After adding Position title with the Unit name and Internal title you will see the page where the basic information on the job should be added.

On the left side you will see Job Details fields. Here you can see:

the fields with already pre-filled information:

  • Position title: the title which you added or selected on Position title page

  • Unit: the unit name selected in the Position title page.

  • Location: the location of the selected unit taken from Settings. NOTE: you can select another location, but it is important that you do it from the suggested list which appears when you start typing the address

  • Employment type: Full time by default with number of positions - 1

  • Salary type: Not specified by default.

  • Due date: +30 days from today's date by default. Click on "X" icon to replace it with "Open application" option

  • Internal title: the title which you added in Internal title page and which is visible to your teammates only.

  • Job Listing title: same as Position title by default

    All of the above fields can be updated depending on the requirements of the job.

empty fields:

  • Job function: this is the required field. Start typing and you will see the suggested list of functions. You must select it from the list.

  • Job listing subtitle: it is the optional field. Fill it out if you want to add some descriptive information about this position

  • Job description: it is the required field. Add job requirements, position description etc here. There is a toolbar on top of this field which will help you format the text

On the bottom of the page there is "Edit Job Listing" button clicking on which will open Job Listing page where you can add more information to your job. Read more about it here.

Job listing title, Job listing sub-title and Job description fields have "Personalise" drop-down option below the fields. You can use this option to avoid typing and updating such information as Position title, Job address, Unit name, Job owner. If you select, for example, Position variable in the title or sub-title field, it will convert into the Position title name of your job add.

On the right side you will see the following fields:

  • Assigned team: read more about it here.

  • Application shortcuts and External application link: those are shortcuts to the default apps in the application step. Shortcuts give a quick access to the default apps in Applied state. Those are CV app, Auto-message and Screening question app. You can easily update them straight from Job basics page.

    Another option here is the possibility to use External application link. Click on three dots "...", select this option and add third part application link there. You can easily move back to Mojob application process at any time.

  • Language: by default this is the language selected in Settings=>Unit page. Important: This is the language of the job. Name of the fields in all pages, recruitment statuses, auto-messages etc. are defined by this language.

  • Process: those are shortcuts to the default process steps of your Recruitment process: Qualified, Interview, Offer. Clicking on the shortcut opens this process state and you can update it there.

  • "Set up the hiring process" button will open the Recruitment process setup page, where you can build and automate the recruitment process according to this job position requirements.

  • Sourcing channels: the list of sourcing channels to which the job is going to be posted by default is displayed here. There is also a "Copy link" option. Click on it and share the link with your colleagues or applicants. By clicking on "Manage sourcing channels" button you will see Sourcing page where you can set up channels, social media etc. to which the job should be posted. Read more about it here.

  • Job ad preview in the mobile app option: you can now check how the job will look like on the mobile and update it so the ad with all the information looks nice

NOTE: information added to the job is auto-saved.
