How to Fix "No Sound" Issues in WeMind App

Updated over a year ago

If you're experiencing issues with no sound in the WeMind app, it might be due to browser settings. Here's how to quickly resolve the problem, depending on whether you're using Chrome or Safari.

For Chrome Users:

  1. Open the WeMind App in Chrome: Start by launching the WeMind app in your Chrome browser.

  2. Click the "View Site Information" Icon: At the top-left corner of your browser, right next to the URL bar, you'll see an icon (usually a padlock or info symbol). Click on it to open the site settings.

  3. Check the Sound Settings: In the drop-down menu that appears, make sure that Sound is set to "Allow". If it's set to "Mute," you will not hear any sound from the app.

  4. Refresh the Page: Once the sound setting is adjusted, refresh the page to ensure the change takes effect. The audio should work now.

For Safari Users:

  1. Open the WeMind App in Safari: Launch the WeMind app in Safari.

  2. Click on the "Safari" Menu: At the top of your screen, click on "Safari" in the menu bar.

  3. Select "Settings for This Website": From the drop-down menu, choose Settings for This Website. This will bring up a set of specific options for WeMind.

  4. Allow Auto-Play: In the settings window, make sure the Auto-Play option is set to "Allow All Auto-Play". This ensures that media will play automatically, including sound, when you visit the app.

  5. Close Settings and Refresh the Page: Once you've adjusted the auto-play setting, close the settings menu and refresh the page. You should now hear the sound from the WeMind app.
