Morningstar are constantly evaluating our research approach to empower investor success more effectively. As a result of a review with BondAdviser, the provider of this research through Morningstar, we have determined that we will cease BondAdviser credit research coverage as of 31 January 2026, Morningstar’s offering of BondAdviser credit research coverage will cease.
This decision has been driven by a significant decline in usage of the Credit Research and the moves by regulators to cease allowing credit securities to be available to retail investors (including those receiving financial advice).
To ensure we are providing further value with our revised approach to research, Morningstar will soon be producing an improved suite of market and economic reports written by our own Research and Investments analysts, to represent Morningstar’s holistic view of the financial environment more accurately. We will also be enhancing our coverage of other securities, most notably ETFs.
