Create and modify private templates that are accessible exclusively to your practice.

Designed for third-party providers working with multiple practices on template designs, offering flexibility and efficiency.
Template Designer is a powerful tool designed to streamline your processes and customise templates to suit your unique needs.
Features
You can create, modify, or delete templates directly, giving you full control over templates managed by your AFSL or Practice, including customised (‘child’ versions) of AdviserLogic standard templates.
AFSL Template Sharing
AFSLs can share or remove templates for specific practices, allowing seamless distribution and management of templates across the network.
Foundation Coding
Access a library of common field codes and a Design Library to streamline template automation and ensure consistency in formatting.
AFSL or AdviserLogic Master Template Updates
If your practice uses a linked ‘child’ version of an AFSL or Morningstar AdviserLogic template, you’ll receive prompts for updates. These updates—such as new product enhancements, legislative changes, or content improvements—can be implemented with just a few clicks, ensuring your templates remain current and compliant.

Access Limitations
In this release, access is limited to text editing and styling features. While coding will be visible within the tool, detailed training on coding will not be provided at this stage.
Technical Proficiency
Although we have designed the Template Designer to be user-friendly, its HTML editor format requires a moderate level of technical understanding.Training Recommendation
To ensure a smooth experience, we strongly recommend completing all available training before using the tool. This will help you maximise its potential and minimise errors.
How to Subscribe and Costs
The Template Designer is available through a paid subscription at $250 + GST. This ongoing fee will be reflected in your account invoices starting from the next billing cycle.

Transferring Access
To reassign Template Designer access from one user to another, follow these steps:
Submit a request to the AdviserLogic support team, specifying the access change needs. Ensure to include the details of the current user, the new user, and any specific access requirements to expedite the process.
Once the request is processed, the new user will be granted Template Designer access using their existing AdviserLogic login credentials. Note that only registered AdviserLogic users with an active subscription are eligible for access.
Logging into the Template Designer
Current AdviserLogic users can easily log into the Template Designer tool:
Navigate to Template Designer.
Use your existing AdviserLogic credentials, including your current password, to log in.

Comprehensive training resources are available in the Morningstar Academy to help you get started and make the most of the Template Designer. Additional learning resources include video tutorials for step-by-step guidance, Design Catalogues showcasing various template examples, and a comprehensive User Guide to answer common questions and assist with navigation. These resources can be accessed directly within the Template Designer interface. These resources are conveniently located under the Top Menu within the Template Designer tool.
