Overview
The Marry Clients feature in AdviserLogic allows you to link two existing client records as partners, ensuring their financial data is correctly associated. This feature is essential for accurate financial planning, reporting, and compliance when managing couples’ financial profiles.
When This Feature is Useful:
Clients were created separately – If two individuals were initially set up as separate client records but are a couple, linking them ensures joint financial visibility.
Clients get married or enter a de facto relationship – This helps align their financial records for shared planning and reporting.
Merging financial goals and assets – When clients begin joint investments, loans, or estate planning, linking their profiles ensures all relevant data is consolidated.
Previously split records need to be re-linked – If a client and partner were previously separated in the system and need to be reconnected, this feature allows for proper association.
By using the Marry Clients process, you can ensure accurate data management, seamless financial planning, and improved efficiency when working with couples.

Linking Client Accounts
To store clients as a single Client and Partner style record, navigate to Tools > Administrative Tools > Advance Records Management > Manage Marry
In the Primary Client field, enter the name of the client who will serve as the primary record—this is typically the individual requiring more interaction and financial advice.
Next, in the Partner field, enter the name of the secondary client. As you type, matching client names will appear in a drop-down menu. Simply select the correct client from the list to proceed.
Once you have selected the correct Primary Client and Partner, click Marry to complete the process.
The Partner record will be linked to the Client record, creating a combined Client and Partner profile that consolidates information from both original records.
To access the newly linked record, navigate to the Primary Client’s Record > Fact Find.
