There is no singular weight loss journey that everyone experiences. Everybody’s journey is different and influenced by unique personal factors. Some people will see a quick weight loss and others will not see significant weight loss for a couple of months. Weight loss injectables can be prescribed for up to 2 years and are not designed as short-term fix.
It’s important to understand what to expect and set realistic expectations for your weight loss journey.
What do the clinical trials say?
There have been several trials for both main weight loss injectables and they provide a good indicator of what you can expect. The Tirzepatide study (the active ingredient in Mounjaro) shows weight loss of up to 20% over a 72-week period.
How fast will I see a difference?

Will changing my diet and exercise routines make a difference?
We always recommend making adjustments to your lifestyle, diet and exercise alongside your weekly injections. Doing this will give you a greater chance of long-term weight loss that you can maintain once you stop the injections.
Will my food cravings disappear?
A welcome part of weight loss medications is the reduction in ‘food noise’. Many users have reported no longer constantly thinking about food or having extreme cravings for certain foods.
My weight loss has slowed down?
As you go through your journey you might have periods where your weight loss plateaus or slows down. This might be an indicator to select a higher dose during your next order. You should also review your diet and exercise to see if you can make any impactful adjustments there.
