View Buy-Side Agent Data

View buy-side Realtor data for your markets in Mortgage MarketSmart.

From your Dashboard, Click on Real Estate Listing and Agent Data.

Next, rename the Layer Name into ‘Buy-side Agents’ to proceed with the next step

In the Search By options, click on MSAs and then select a Location, then click Save to proceed.

Upon clicking Save, the platform will retrieve all the data from the Location you specified.

  • Once the platform has retrieved all the data, Zoom in on to the location you specified, Click the Down Arrow next to the Layer Name, and select View Data

  • You will then be able to see the entire list that are currently active in Residential listings

  • However, in order to find the Buy-side information, change the Filter Value from Active to Sold, then click on Apply.

  • Once you’re ready to export the information you’ve gather, Click on Export to Excel to proceed

  • Next, rename the Project Name by adding the date, then click on Export when finished.

  • After clicking export, You will notice a message from the bottom right that says “Successfully queued report generation”. This tells that the platform is exporting the data from the list.

  • Once the exporting is done, Click on to the Folders icon in order to retrieve the report.

  • In the Folders tab, click on RootFolder to find the report

  • Locate the report you created in the RootFolder and click on it to open it in Excel automatically.
    (Note: It will take awhile to generate the report depending on the number of data or the size of the report data. Refresh the page to update the list until the data is visible)

In the Excel datasheet, Make sure that you Highlight all the column headers until the bottom of the data set,

  • After highlighting the data set, Press Alt+D+P, a small window will appear and this will put all the information in PivotTable then click on Finish

  • Next is, rename the datasheet into Buyer Agents to proceed

  • In the PivotTable Fields, scroll down until you get into Buyer Agent Full name.

  • Once you get into the Buyer Agent Full name, Check the box and Drag it into the Rows and Values areas below.

  • In the Values area below, Right click the Count of Buyer Agent Full Name and Select Value Field Settings to format the information.

  • In the small window, Click on Number Format > Numbers > Change the decimal places to 0 and Check the “Use 1000 Separator (,)” box then click OK to proceed

  • After formatting the information, Go to the Row Labels and click on More Sort Options

  • in the small window that will appear, click on Descending (Z to A), under it Select Count of Buyer Agent Full Name. And now all the data is sorted

  • From there, you can also Add the Buyer Agent Office Name in the PivotTable Field by clicking and dragging it into the Row Area below.

  • You can also change the design of the data set by clicking on Design > Report Layout > Show In Tabular Form

  • And under Buyer Office Name, Right Click and Select Field Settings > None > OK to display the Buyer Agent Name, the company they work with and the number of properties they sold the past month.
