If you regularly email reports to customers, then you may wish to set a default email template to send alongside the reports.

Setting a Default Email Template for Reports

If you frequently email reports to customers, setting a default email template can save time and ensure consistency. Follow these steps to configure a default email template for reports in VGM:

  1. Click on Financial in the top menu. Select Financial Settings from the dropdown menu.

  2. In the Financial Settings window, click on the Message Settings tab.

  3. Locate the Email Attachment Message Templates panel within the Message Settings tab. Click on the Report dropdown menu to view available email templates. Select the email template you wish to use as the default for reports.

  4. After selecting the desired template, click on the Save button located in the bottom-right corner of the Email Attachment Message Templates panel.
