When you no longer need a part in your parts list but it has been linked to documents such as jobsheets and invoices previously, you are unable to delete the part. However, with the archive tool, you can remove them from your parts list, allowing you to keep an up-to-date and organized parts list. Here is how to do this:

Archiving a Part

  1. Go to "Parts/Tyres > Parts."

  2. Select the part/s you would like to archive.

  3. Click the Archive button in the taskbar.

Viewing Archived Parts

To view the items you have archived, tick the Show archived option in the top right of the parts page.

Unarchiving a Part

  1. On the parts page, tick the Show archived box in the top right.

  2. Select the part/s you wish to unarchive.

  3. Click the Unarchive button in the taskbar.

Note: This functionality is currently only available on the parts page.
