Overview
Template output issues usually fall into three groups: the AI wrote the wrong content, the formatting looks wrong, or exported DOCX content such as signatures and bullets does not appear as expected.
If unwanted sections appear
Make the omission rule explicit in the template.
[Omit this entire heading and section if this topic was not discussed. Do not write "none reported", "no concerns", or "not mentioned".]
Then regenerate the same session to test the change.
If notes are too short
Add more specific headings.
Ask for relevant positives and negatives.
Ask for clinical reasoning where mentioned.
Use Nightingale or Wilkins for complex sessions where detail matters.
If bullet points look wrong
Use simple bullet instructions, such as
Use one sentence per bullet.Avoid deeply nested bullet lists.
Avoid mixing typed hyphens with formatted bullets.
Check whether the issue appears in Motics, the DOCX export, or only after copying into another system.
If the signature is too large
Open Profile and check the saved signature.
Use a smaller or better-cropped signature image.
If using a DOCX document template, avoid placing the signature variable inside a narrow or fixed-size area.
Regenerate and export again after changing the signature.
If the issue appeared after a product update
Regenerate one known session with the same template and compare the output. If the difference is consistent, contact support with the template name, session date, expected output, actual output, and screenshots or exported files.
What to send support
Template name.
Session name or patient initials.
Date and approximate time of the session.
What changed or looked wrong.
Whether the issue appears in Motics, DOCX export, copied text, or EHR output.
Screenshot or example export if available.
