Just getting started? Check out the How to set up a Package for your Marketplace profile
One-time payment Purchases
One-time payment: Customers will be charged only once when paying for the package.
When your client is making a purchase, they will be prompted to electronically sign an authorization to charge their credit card automatically.
When a client successfully purchases a package that has a single payment, the purchase is activated immediately. The client will then be prompted to visit their profile to see their current package(s).
Recurring subscription Purchases
Recurring Subscription: Customers will be charged for the first payment at purchase and then at repeated intervals until the set number of payments is done.
When your client is making a purchase, they will be prompted to electronically sign an authorization to charge their credit card automatically.
When a client successfully purchases a package, the purchase is activated immediately. The client will then be prompted to visit their profile to see their current package(s).
After confirming the purchase, the next step will be similar as the One-time payment package. Once the purchase is activated, the coach selling the package will be notified.
For subsequent charges, the payment cycle will begin when the purchase is activated. For example, if the subscription charges every 2 weeks and the first payment is Jan 1, the next payment will always be Jan 15.
For recurring subscriptions, the client will be charged the set number of payments, and the purchase will remain 'Active' until it is automatically marked ‘Cancelled’ after the set number of payment periods. A coach can also choose to cancel a purchase early to stop the recurring payments.
In the case of packages that recur "forever", the payments will continue until a coach cancels the purchase.
Recharge Failed Payment
There are two cases when your client fails their purchases:
Overdue payment of a subscription
Failed payment after their trial
You can recharge a failed invoice, and there are two methods to retry a failed charge:
Under the Cancelled tab, locate the failed invoice and select ‘Purchase Detail’ from the 3-dot icon to access the client subscription. Then, click ‘Recharge Invoice’ to retry the payment.
Under the All invoices tab, locate the invoice marked with a ‘Failed’ status. Click on the 3-dot icon and select the ‘Retry Credit Card’ option to retry the payment
In the pop-up, click on ‘Charge credit card’ to initiate the attempt to charge the credit card again.
In order not to spam the system, you can retry the charge up to once a day.
Manage Purchases
Your client can view their purchases, manage the credit cards used, and review packages by logging in on the web at client.everfit.io/login.
After your client logs in, they will see the list of purchases made, and for recurring purchases, they will be able to update their credit card on file.
