How should I pack my kit?

When you sell to MPB or trade in, you get free fully insured courier collection or drop-off shipping. When you pack your kit, please follow these instructions:

1. Prepare your kit

Please carefully clean the exterior of your kit and individually wrap each item, including chargers and plugs. Please ensure that you attach the lens/body caps to protect the respective lens glass or camera body.

Each box can contain up to three cameras (with batteries inside) or two cameras (with batteries inside) and four individually wrapped batteries.

2. Prepare your accessories

Please include all original manufacturer accessories to maximise the price we can pay you. Plus, when we recirculate your kit, the next visual storyteller can benefit from your accessories, too.

You can sell us your third-party accessories, but they must be fully functional and work with the item you’re selling. These items tend to have a lower value than original manufacturer accessories, which can decrease your quote price.

Please don’t include anything besides your quoted item and original manufacturer accessories or relevant third-party accessories. We are unable to insure or return extra items. Check our article on what accessories to send in or check our terms & conditions

3. Pack your kit

Place your wrapped kit and accessories inside a sturdy box with tightly packed protective materials and make sure nothing is loose. This will help keep your kit secure. No packaging you send to us will end up in a landfill.

4. Seal your kit

Once everything’s secure, tape up your box and add shipping information to the outside using the labels and instructions provided.

5. Drop off your kit

Get free fully insured shipping to MPB. Courier collection and drop-off shipping options are available for most EU countries. Your kit is in good hands.

Add the shipping details to the box including your unique reference number for each item that you are sending to us. You will need a printer for this step.

Once you have printed your label you can take your item(s) to your nearest postal office (Please check your shipping label to determine which courier to ship with).

6. Get your kit collected

Upon collection of your kit, please ask the courier to scan the box immediately and in your presence. Please do not leave your kit unattended. Within 24 hours, check your tracking info to double-check that your kit is safely in transit. Your kit is in good hands with free insured shipping.

Important: If you are shipping items for multiple quotes at the same time, please pack the items for each quote separately in different boxes and use the correct unique labels for each box.
