Searching

Search Bar

Through the search bar, you can enter a model name of the product you wish to inspect. Our search bar may automatically provide listings based on what information you enter.

Once entered, the product will be displayed alongside a volume of how many we have in stock. Following this route you will then be able to view all of our current stock for this particular model.

You can also enter keywords, such as ‘Canon EF’ to view all Canon EF fit lenses for example.

If an item is out of stock, simply click ‘Find out of stock models’ and you will have the ability to set a notification reminder once another comes into our stock!

Product Images

All images displayed through our website will have their own individual images taken of the item. In some cases, extra images may be provided if there are notable areas of cosmetic wear/tear.

Additional Product Information

Cosmetic Condition

All of our items will fall under one of our six condition gradings, these help determine the price and overall condition of the product after inspection by our specialist product team.

What's Included?

Within this section, you can check what accessories this item will include, such as the battery type, charger or other additional accessories. As all items are purchased used, the accessories provided may vary from listing to listing and will not affect the overall condition grading of the product itself.

(For example, a Like New camera might not have all original accessories)

Shutter count

If applicable, a shutter or hour-count will be displayed for the listing.

Model Overview

The model overview section will provide information on the model itself, with the overview exploring its history, performance and specialties.

Condition Gradings

Our Condition gradings provide a basis to set the best price for each individual item that is purchased by MPB. This is reflective of the overall condition of the item, rather than the functionality.

If there are any particular notes of performance/condition fault with a product, this will be noted within the items description.

Like new: As if item(s) were brand new out of the box. Little to no sign of wear to the body or casing. Minimal or no dust, marks, or paint defects are present.

Excellent: Minor signs of wear to the body or casing. Light dust, marks, and paint defects may be present.

Good: Noticeable signs of wear to rubber grips, ports or other components. Dust, marks, and paint defects may be present.

Well used: Distinct signs of wear and light scuffs to rubber grips, ports or other components. Considerable dust, marks, and paint defects may be present.

Heavily used: Significant signs of wear, heavy marks, or scuffs to rubber grips, ports, or other components. Heavy dust, marks, and paint defects may be present.

Spares & Repairs: Items returned within warranty that are dysfunctional but still hold value for both spares & repairs.

For spares & repairs items, it is recommended to check the ‘observations’ section of the product listing, this will provide further detail on the fault

Further information on our Condition Gradings can be found here.

Further Information

What if an Item is out of stock?

Search for the model on MPB. If it’s not in stock, choose “Find out of stock models”. Under any out-of-stock model, choose “Create an alert” and enter your email address. You’ll be the first to know when it’s back in stock. You can edit or remove these alerts at any time.

What if I can’t find a specific model to sell on your quote form?

If the item you wish to sell isn’t available through our quote page, or you are unable to find the listed model, you can select ‘I can’t find what I am looking for’ within the quote creation page and generate a quote for the item.

Once submitted, our team will review the item(s) to determine if this can be bought by MPB, and a quote will be generated and sent within 24 hours.

Please ensure that you are also providing the specific model name, for example a Canon 650D should be quoted as ‘Canon EOS 650D’

What is a SKU?

SKU is an acronym for ‘Stock Keeping Unit’, and is a unique number applied to all of our products across MPB. As we buy used items, every item is individual and can be located by the use of a SKU number.

What is a TX Number?

TX (transaction) is a unique reference number assigned to your order, and you may be asked by one of our support team members to confirm this information.

All transactions will have TX number applied, usually in the format including the region - example - TX-US-1234567 or TX-EU-1235467.

You can find your TX number on your invoice or in your transaction confirmation email.

What does ‘Accessory (B), (C), (D) Mean?

Recently we have made some changes to our quote system to ensure that our customers receive the best offer for their gear. This also means that the items which we list on our website are provided with accurate information with regards to the accessories.

With this change, you may notice that accessories such as the original packaging or straps may be denoted with a letter such as (A), (B), (C) etc

This will denote that the accessory is in condition relative to the listing. However If this letter denomination is missing and the accessory is simply listed as 'Original Packaging' for example, the accessory is present but the price is unaffected

For Selling, this means that you may receive more than initially quoted for your gear. And for our buyers, this provides more accurate information on the condition of the accessories provided.
