How to find information about your subway trip on the MTA app.

The Subway tab shows real-time train arrivals near your current location, which is indicated by a blue dot. The latest arrivals appear below the map and are listed by station and direction of travel. Tap on any station name to see the full list of arrivals. Use the Swap Direction button to change the direction.

If you tap on a trip in the arrivals list, you will see the train's current location and the estimated time it will arrive at each station.

You can see arrivals for other stations by moving your dot on the map. Zoom in or out on the map to change the location. The list of arrivals will update based on your map view. You can tell if you're in this mode if you see a purple dot instead of a blue dot.

You can also search directly for a station by tapping on the magnifying glass, turn on Accessibility mode by tapping on the accessibility icon (ISA icon), or reset to your current location by tapping on the location button.

If you have a subway line saved as a Favorite, it will appear above the list of Nearby stations.

Tapping on a station brings you to its page, which lists more upcoming arrivals. Tapping on a trip brings you to its page, which lists all upcoming stops.
