Saving a subway line or bus route promotes it to the Favorites section on the status tab. Your favorites will also appear above the list of Nearby arrivals in the Subway and Bus tabs.
To save a subway line or bus route through the Status tab:
Go to the Status tab and select Favorites. Scroll down if needed to find the Edit favorites option. You can favorite a subway line by tapping on a star next to the line at the top. You can favorite a bus route by scrolling down, expanding the appropriate borough, then tapping the star next to the bus route you want to favorite.
Use the Search box to find a subway line or bus route, then tap the star icon on the result.
To save a subway line or bus route through the Subway or Bus tabs:
Go to the Subway or Bus tabs and tap on a station or stop that has the line or route you want to favorite.
Tap again on a trip on the station or stop page.
Save a favorite line or route by tapping the star by the subway line icon or bus route badge. This saves the general line or route, not the specific station.
If you already have a Favorites section on the Subway or Bus tab, you can add more by tapping Edit.
