Change What Your Widgets Show

You can use widgets to show upcoming arrivals at your favorite stops or show service status for your favorite lines and routes.

Upcoming Arrivals

iOS

The widget comes in three sizes (small, medium, and large) and it widget shows more arrivals the bigger it is. You can configure the widget to show:

  • Stop: choose a favorite station or stop

  • Filter Mode: show all routes, all local routes, all express routes, or a specific route

  • Direction: show all directions or a specific direction

Android

The widget can show multiple stops and stations. This widget will behave as a carousel, and you may tap the left and right arrows to view them.

  1. To customize this carousel, follow these steps on the configuration screen:

  2. Tap the “Add a station” button.

  3. In the modal that appears, tap your preferred station/stop.

  4. Customize your selection:

    1. Subway: Choose a specific direction or all directions if preferred. At station complexes, a specific platform may also be selected.

    2. Bus: Choose a specific bus route, or all bus routes if preferred.

  5. Use the hamburger menu at the top left of each station/stop to drag and re-order your entries.

  6. Use the trash button at the top right of each station/stop to remove it from the widget.

Line Status

The Line Status widget shows the current service status for a favorite subway line or bus route. It comes in one size on iOS.

You can configure the widget to show a specific favorite subway line or bus route.

Refreshing Information

A “red tap to refresh” button will appear when the data is out-of-date.
