Creating a New Project

Create Clips - Create up to 30 clips (short videos) from one long video, including auto crop, subtilties and caption.

Resize Video - Change the aspect ratio of a given video, according to the selected platform.

Add Captions - Add subtitles, caption and even music to a given video and select your preference.

To start a new project on Munch Studio, click on one of the three project buttons (according to your needs) in "Home Page" or the "+ New Project" button in the "Project Page" in the top right corner.

Specify the platform(s) for which you want your clip generated. This is crucial as the platforms you choose determine how the clips are generated. Note that per project, Munch can only create clips of one aspect ratio. When choosing platforms, our app will automatically select the aspect ratio allowed by both social media platforms you choose. You can select up to two platforms.

In this same section, you will find the "Optimal Aspect Ratio" function, which can be used to give Munch Studio the specific aspect ratio you want the clips to be created by.

When you're done, click 'Next.'

Choose if you want to add subtitles to your clips

If you want one, you can choose from our closed list, which is up to date with the current trends in social media

Now, give your project a title.

You can choose to apply a brand kit you already created

Select your video type (Gaming, Vlog, Interview, etc.) - this will help us optimize your clips.

Pick the length of the clips you want to get from the "Clips length” dropdown menu. However, we recommend clicking “I trust Munch” as we will provide you with the best possible clips at lengths best supported by the platforms you choose.

You can choose specific music to play in your clips in the "Background Music" dropdown menu or choose none. If you do pick one from the list we'll add the music to each clip if we think it fits.

Silence Removal always off but if you select "Auto", we'll remove silent gaps to make your clip more if we think it will make the clips more smooth and engaging.

Under the advanced settings, you can make us focus on specific keywords or choose the video's language

Next, click 'Munch It!'

Select the specific output's aspect ratio for your video

Choose if you want to add subtitles to your clips
