Accessing the Brand Kit page

  1. Click ‘My Brand’.

  2. Select the feature you wish to utilize. Currently, only Visual Overlay and Videos are available for use.

What is the Brand Kit? The Brand Kit in Munch lets you customize your videos with your brand's unique elements like logos, calls-to-action (CTAs), images, and GIFs. Create various kits for different needs, ensuring your brand looks consistent across campaigns and platforms.

Why are overlays important?

Overlays in video clips play a crucial role in marketing strategies. Using a logo as an overlay, for instance, boosts brand recognition, familiarizing viewers with the brand and potentially increasing purchase likelihood. Additionally, calls to action like "Follow us" or "Like this clip" engage viewers and prompt immediate responses. Overall, overlays are effective tools for enhancing brand visibility and encouraging viewer interaction, serving both to recognize and engage the audience effectively.

Using the Visual Overlay:

  1. Upload Brand Elements:

    • Click 'Visual Overlay' to start adding your branding elements (logos, CTAs, images, GIFs).

  2. Position and Size:

    • In the preview area, drag to position your elements and drag edges to resize, fitting them neatly in the video frame.

  3. Set Timing:

    • Choose when each element should appear in your clip.

  4. Preview and Adjust for Safe Zones:

    • Check safe zones in the preview to make sure elements aren’t hidden by platform interfaces. Adjust for all platforms or focus on one to tailor your content perfectly.

Why should you use Intro-Outro videos?

Intro and outro segments are crucial in video production for enhancing brand recognition. These beginning and ending parts of a video are opportunities to prominently display a company's brand identity—through logos, colors, fonts, and other distinctive elements. By consistently using intros and outros to highlight these features, companies can significantly boost brand recognition. This strategy helps ensure that when viewers encounter a product from the brand, they are more likely to recognize and purchase it. Effectively, a well-designed intro or outro can turn a brief video clip into a powerful tool for establishing and reinforcing brand awareness.

Using Videos (Intro-Outro):

  1. Upload Media:

    • Click 'Videos' to start adding your branding elements (Intro-Outro)

  2. Set Timing:

    • Choose when each video should appear in your clip.

  3. Play duration:

    • Choose the amount of time each clip will play

Managing Brand Kits:

  • Go to 'My Brand' to view or edit your kits. The first kit becomes your default for new projects but you can change this anytime.

Important Tips:

  • Overlay Adjustments: Can't move or resize overlays from the edit page; it's done in the brand kit section.

  • For 16:9 Videos: A default position and size are set in your brand kit, with no option to adjust in this aspect ratio.

  • Unlimited Kits: Create as many Brand Kits as you need, there’s no limit.
