Style Guide for Single Releases

What to bear in mind when preparing a Single.

Written by Niklas

A Single is a one-track release. In the years since streaming became the common form of music consumption, Singles have become a popular (and effective) way to build hype leading up to a full release.

While Singles naturally follow the same rules laid out in the MusicHub Style Guide, there are further requirements to be aware of.

All information provided on Release level must also match all information on Track level:

  • Artist,

  • Genre and Sub Genre

  • Language

  • Original Release Date

  • Title

  • Version

If the release features multiple artists, it can sometimes get a little complicated. Feel free to reach out to us if you are having problems with this.
