You are now able to select TIDAL as one of the platforms you want your music to be distributed to. Here, we would like to go over some key information regarding TIDAL as well as our distribution to the platform.

As a platform, which claims to pay the highest percentage of royalties to music artists and songwriters within the music streaming market, TIDAL has secured its popularity among music-makers and listeners alike.

As of February 2022, TIDAL is currently available in 60 countries.

To highlight what makes it stand out among the other streaming companies, TIDAL claims that their "extensive catalog is supplemented by exclusive content, including exclusive videos and songs featuring the world's top musicians, athletes, and entertainers as well as up-and-coming independent artists," and that they "offer not only access to exclusive digital content but also the ability to participate in unique real-life experiences such as concerts with established or emerging artists and other direct interactions between fans and their favorite artists."

There are currently two main types of subscription tiers that TIDAL offers:

  • TIDAL HiFi

  • TIDAL HiFi Plus

Bear in mind that MusicHub will deliver your music in line with TIDAL HiFi, and not TIDAL HiFi Plus. This means that listeners will be able to hear a HiFi (lossless) quality sound (1411 kbps; 16 bit / 44.1 kHz). Higher tiers of sound quality, such as Hi-Res (24 bit)

or Dolby Atmos are therefore currently excluded from MusicHub's delivery to TIDAL.

Below, you can see detailed information regarding differences between the two tiers:

Important:

Please also note that we do not receive daily statistics data from TIDAL - so you won't see TIDAL information in your Stats page; you will be able to view the Stream Count within your detailed monthly royalty statements from TIDAL in your Balance page.
