Beatport suggests that the optimal method for crafting DJ charts is as follows:
Go to https://www.beatport.com/dj/charts/new and either log in or create a new user account to get started.
If you already have a DJ profile or are using one of your artists' DJ profiles, log in to that user account. If not, you'll need to set up a new DJ profile by following the prompts. Provide a DJ name (which can be different from the user name) and complete the rest of the profile.
Once your accounts are linked, DJ Charts will automatically appear on your artist page.
Choose a name for your DJ chart, upload a high-resolution picture (artist picture, not release artwork), and add a description.
Add 10-20 tracks of your choice by searching the store, selecting from your cart, or your previous purchases. You can also add tracks available for pre-order.
Customize your DJ chart by dragging and dropping tracks, removing any you don't want, and previewing the order until you're satisfied with the selection.
Publish your DJ chart and you'll get a unique chart URL that you can share across social platforms.
Note that once your chart is published, you won't be able to edit or remove it, so double-check everything before hitting publish.
How to Create Beatport Streaming Playlists:
Beatport Streaming Playlists can be made by Labels and Artists. They are an excellent way to showcase your label's catalogue to Beatport Streaming subscribers.
Creating Beatport Streaming Playlists is similar to making DJ Charts. Follow the same steps as mentioned above.
Ensure your playlist contains 20-100 tracks.
To increase the chances of your playlist being featured on genre pages, at least two-thirds of the tracks should be in your chosen genre.
Beatport's Curation team selects some Artist & Label Beatport Streaming Playlists to be featured on the Beatport Streaming Playlists page of the Beatport website and partner integrations like Serato, Traktor, Rekordbox, Denon DJ, and more. You can pitch your Beatport Streaming Playlist to be featured here.
To improve the chances of being featured, use a high-resolution label logo.
With this guide, you should be all set to create your DJ charts and Beatport Streaming playlists and share your music with a broader audience. Happy charting!
