Add POS Data to the Item Library

Learn how to connect a POS to the Item Library.

The Item Library enables advanced menu management on our Pro Plan.

Please note: The Item Library is not required in order to use data from Toast or Square POS systems.

Import POS Data into the Item Library

From within the design editor, select Item Library on the left.

Select Edit Library.

A pop up will appear. Select either POS or Connect your POS.

If a POS connection has not been established, set it up using one of the following workflows:

For the sake of this walkthrough, Toast data will be shown.

After a POS connection has been established, select menus and menu sections to import.

Select Add groups at the bottom of the pop up.

The selected POS menus will now be available within the Item Library, as indicted by the POS Original header above each imported menu.
