If your labels are not printing correctly within AccelerPrint, ensure your settings are configured properly. One of the most common issues is using an incorrect label size. AccelerPrint supports the following label sizes:
30334: 2 1/4" x 1 1/4" (57mm x 32mm)
30336: 1" x 2-1/8"
30252: 1-1/8" x 3-1/2" (28mm x 89mm)
Printer Driver Settings
Ensure your printer driver is set to 300 x 300 dpi. Avoid using 300 x 600 dpi, as this can cause label misalignment. This setting must also match within your computer’s printer settings.
Setting Label Size in Printer Configuration
Make sure the label size is also correctly set in your printer settings. Here's how to do this for Dymo and Rollo printers:
📌 For DYMO Printers (via DYMO Connect App)
- Open DYMO Connect and choose a blank label layout.
- Access Label Properties by either right-clicking the label or using the "Properties" panel.
- Set Dimensions: Enter the correct width and height for your label.
- Set Margins:
- For individual elements: Double-click the element (e.g., text, barcode), then adjust margins in the “Properties” or “Advanced” section.
- For the entire label: Go to “Page Setup” or “Layout” and modify the margin settings accordingly.
🖨️ For DYMO Label Software (Legacy App)
- Launch DYMO Label Software.
- Select the correct label size from the left menu or under "Label Types."
- Open the Label Layout Editor (either create a new label or edit an existing one).
- Adjust Margins:
- For specific elements: Double-click and adjust via “Properties.”
- For overall label: Navigate to “Advanced” or “Page Setup” options.
⚙️ For Rollo Printers
- Right-click the Rollo Printer in your “Devices and Printers” list, then choose Printing Preferences.
- Click on Settings.
- Adjust Margins using positive or negative values to align the label correctly.
- Click Apply or OK to save changes.
🍏 For Mac Users (Including macOS Update Fix)
If you're using a Mac, especially after macOS 10.8, printer configuration through system settings may not correctly display supported label sizes. Instead, use the CUPS printing system to configure your label printer:
Enabling CUPS on macOS:
- Open Terminal (Applications > Utilities > Terminal).
- Type: sudo cupsctl WebInterface=yes
- Press Enter. (Make sure you’re logged in as an administrator.)
- Open a browser and go to: http://localhost:631/
- Select your printer, click Administration > Default Options, and set the correct label size.
- Enter your Mac admin credentials when prompted to save changes.
Final Verification
Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners to confirm your printer is listed and ready to use.
