How to Manage Suppliers & Scouts in AccelerList

This guide explains how to add, edit, and remove Suppliers and Scouts in AccelerList using the Suppliers & Scouts tab under Listing Settings.

How to Access the Page

  1. Log in to AccelerList.

  2. Click Settings on the left sidebar.

  3. Click the Listing tab at the top.

  4. Select the Suppliers & Scouts sub-tab.


What You Will See on This Page

This page is divided into two sections:

  • Supplier Settings on the left

  • Scout Settings on the right

Both sections allow you to manage saved names that can be used for tracking sourcing and scouting activity.


Supplier Settings

The Supplier Settings section lets you create and manage a list of suppliers you buy inventory from.

Examples shown in the screenshot:

  • Costco

  • Estate Sales

  • Garage Sales

  • Goodwill

  • Home Depot

  • Library Sales

  • Target

  • Walmart

These supplier names help you quickly identify where an item came from when listing or reviewing inventory.


How to Add a New Supplier

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the Supplier Settings list.

  2. Click the field labeled Enter New Supplier.

  3. Type the supplier name you want to add.

  4. Click Add Supplier.

Your new supplier will then appear in the list.


How to Edit a Supplier

  1. Find the supplier you want to update.

  2. Click the edit icon (pencil) next to the supplier name.

  3. Update the supplier name.

  4. Save the change if prompted.

Use this if you want to correct a spelling mistake or rename an existing supplier.


How to Delete a Supplier

  1. Find the supplier you want to remove.

  2. Click the delete icon (trash can) next to the supplier name.

Use caution when deleting suppliers, especially if they are already being used in your listings or inventory records.


Scout Settings

The Scout Settings section lets you create and manage a list of scouts.

Examples shown in the screenshot:

  • Jeff

  • Sarah

  • Mike

  • David

Scouts are usually the people who source or scan inventory for your business.


How to Add a New Scout

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the Scout Settings list.

  2. Click the field labeled Enter New Scout.

  3. Type the scout’s name.

  4. Click Add Scout.

Your new scout will then be added to the list.


How to Edit a Scout

  1. Find the scout you want to update.

  2. Click the edit icon (pencil) next to the scout name.

  3. Update the name.

  4. Save the change if prompted.

This is useful if you need to correct a name or update an existing scout.


How to Delete a Scout

  1. Find the scout you want to remove.

  2. Click the delete icon (trash can) next to the scout name.

Be careful when deleting scouts if they are already linked to inventory or sourcing records.


Additional Options

At the top of each section, you may also see:

  • Hide Supplier List

  • Hide Scout List

These options allow you to collapse or hide the list from view if needed.


Why Suppliers & Scouts Are Useful

Adding suppliers and scouts helps you:

  • Track where your inventory came from

  • Monitor sourcing performance

  • Organize your listings more clearly

  • Improve reporting and inventory management


Important Note

Any supplier or scout you add here becomes available for use in your AccelerList workflow, making it easier to maintain consistent sourcing records.
