How to Record Your Screen Using Loom

This guide will walk you through how to easily record your screen using Loom, a simple tool for creating and sharing screen recordings.

1. Install Loom

Before you start, make sure Loom is installed.

  • Sign up or log in to your account

  • Download the Loom app or Chrome extension

2. Open Loom

  • Click the Loom icon in your browser (top-right corner)

  • Open the Loom desktop app


3. Choose What to Record

Select your recording type:

  • Screen + Camera (screen with your webcam)

  • Screen Only

  • Camera Only

Then choose:

  • Full Screen

  • Specific Window

  • Custom Size


4. Select Your Audio Settings

  • Choose your microphone

  • Turn camera on/off (optional)
