π§ Overview
The Min Price and Max Price fields in AccelerList are part of the Price Guardrails feature. These allow you to set a pricing range for your items to ensure your prices stay within acceptable limits.
π° What Are Price Guardrails?
Price Guardrails define the lowest and highest price you are willing to sell an item for.
Min Price β The lowest price youβre willing to accept
Max Price β The highest price youβre willing to list or allow
π Think of them as safety limits for your pricing
βοΈ How It Works
When creating or editing a batch, you can set:
A Min Price
A Max Price
These values:
Do not change your listing price directly
Do not get sent to Amazon
π Only your actual listing price is submitted to Amazon
π€ When Do Price Guardrails Matter?
Price Guardrails are most useful when:
You are using pricing rules
You are using a repricer
You want to prevent pricing mistakes
π They ensure your price stays within your defined range even if automation is applied
β οΈ Important Notes
Min/Max prices are internal to AccelerList only
They will not appear on your Amazon listing
If you are not using a repricer, they will not affect your listing
π Example
Setting | Result |
Listing Price: $20 | β Sent to Amazon |
Min Price: $15 | β Not sent |
Max Price: $30 | β Not sent |
β Best Practices
Set a Min Price to protect your profit
Set a Max Price to avoid overpricing errors
Use guardrails if you plan to automate pricing
π§ Quick Summary
Price Guardrails help you:
Control your pricing range
Prevent underpricing or overpricing
Support automated pricing strategies
π They act as internal pricing protection, not actual listing prices.
