How AccelerList Calculates Your Listing Price Before Applying Guardrails

Learn how AccelerList determines a listing price before applying your Min and Max Price settings.

When you list an item, AccelerList first determines a recommended listing price based on your selected pricing strategy and available marketplace data. Only after this price has been calculated are your Min and Max Price guardrails applied.

How the Pricing Process Works

AccelerList follows this general workflow:

  1. Calculates a recommended listing price.

  2. Compares the calculated price against your configured Min and Max Price settings.

  3. Adjusts the final listing price if it falls outside your guardrails.

  4. Sends the final listing price to the marketplace.

Why This Matters

Separating price calculation from price protection allows AccelerList to:

  • Keep listings competitive.

  • Prevent accidental underpricing.

  • Avoid unrealistic listing prices.

  • Maintain consistency across your inventory.
