In AccelerList, you have two ways to create eBay listings: Crosslisting and Direct Listing to eBay. While both publish items to eBay, they work differently depending on where your item is coming from.
π What is Crosslisting?
Crosslisting means taking an item that already exists in your Amazon workflow and sending it to eBay.
π You are reusing an existing Amazon listing
How it works:
Item is already in your batch or inventory
You click crosslist to eBay
AccelerList copies product data to create the eBay listing
Best for:
Items already listed on Amazon
Bulk workflows
Selling the same inventory on multiple platforms
π What is Listing Directly to eBay?
Direct Listing means creating a brand-new listing specifically for eBay inside AccelerList.
π You are not pulling from an Amazon listing
How it works:
You create the listing from scratch (or manually input details)
Fill in eBay-specific fields
Publish directly to eBay
Best for:
Items not listed on Amazon
eBay-only inventory
Unique or custom products
π Key Differences
Feature | Crosslisting | Direct eBay Listing |
Source | Amazon listing | Created from scratch |
Speed | Faster (auto-filled) | Slower (manual input) |
Use Case | Multi-channel selling | eBay-only items |
Workflow | Batch/Inventory-based | Standalone listing |
π‘ When to Use Each
π Use Crosslisting if:
Your item is already listed on Amazon
You want to save time
Youβre doing bulk listing
π Use Direct Listing if:
Item is not on Amazon
You only want to sell on eBay
You need full control over eBay-specific details
β οΈ Important Notes
Crosslisting may require minor edits for eBay (category, item specifics)
Direct listing requires full setup but gives more control
Both require your eBay account to be connected
β Summary
Crosslisting: Reuse Amazon listings to quickly list on eBay
Direct Listing: Create a new eBay listing from scratch
π Crosslisting is faster and ideal for scaling, while direct listing gives you more control for eBay-only items.
