If Amazon reports that a product is missing package dimensions or weight, you can submit updated product dimensions directly through Seller Central.
Method 1: Edit the Listing
Log in to Seller Central.
Go to Inventory → Manage All Inventory.
Locate the affected ASIN/SKU.
Click Edit on the listing.
Navigate to the More Details or Product Details tab.
Enter:
Package Length
Package Width
Package Height
Package Weight
Click Save and Finish.
Method 2: Submit Dimensions During Shipment Creation
If Amazon identifies missing dimensions while creating an FBA shipment:
Create or continue your shipment.
When prompted, enter:
Length
Width
Height
Weight
Submit the information.
Wait for Amazon to process the catalog update.
Note: Propagation can take anywhere from 15 minutes to 24 hours, and occasionally longer if Amazon needs to review the contribution.
Method 3: Contact Seller Support
If dimensions continue to be missing after multiple submissions:
Open Seller Central.
Go to Help → Get Support.
Select:
Products and Inventory
Product Page Issue
Provide:
ASIN
Correct package dimensions
Correct package weight
Screenshot of the error
Seller Support can sometimes manually review and update the catalog information.
Important
Even if you successfully submit the dimensions, Amazon may:
Reject the contribution
Require additional verification
Take time to update the catalog
If the shipment continues showing the same error after several submissions and sufficient waiting time, the issue is often on Amazon's catalog side rather than with the shipment workflow itself.
