When scanning an item into a batch, you may encounter this error:

“Amazon requires package dimensions and weight to process this FBA item.”

This happens when Amazon’s catalog is missing dimension data for that ASIN.

👉 To proceed, you’ll need to manually enter the dimensions and weight.


⚠️ When This Happens

You’ll see a popup like:

  • Missing Package Information

  • Requires:

    • Length

    • Width

    • Height

    • Weight

👉 This is required before you can add the item to your batch.


🔧 Step-by-Step: How to Add Dimensions

1️⃣ Scan the Item into Your Batch

  • Scan or search for the item

  • Click Add to Batch

👉 If dimensions are missing, the popup will appear automatically


2️⃣ Enter the Required Dimensions

You’ll need to fill in:

  • Length (in) → longest side

  • Width (in) → second longest side

  • Height (in) → shortest side

  • Weight (lbs) → total weight of item

👉 Example:

  • Length: 10.5

  • Width: 9

  • Height: 2.5 (estimate if missing)

  • Weight: 2.25 lbs


3️⃣ Use Accurate or Estimated Values

If exact dimensions are not available:

  • Use manufacturer info if possible

  • Or estimate safely based on similar items

  • Avoid underestimating values


4️⃣ Click “Add to Batch”

Once all fields are filled:
👉 Click Add to Batch


5️⃣ Wait for Amazon to Update

After submitting:

  • Amazon may take 30–60 minutes to process the new data

👉 You can proceed, but if issues persist:

  • Retry later

  • Or refresh your session
