How to Publish Fitment to Your Listings (Direct to eBay)

Using the Listing page to publish fitment directly to eBay

Updated over a week ago

For the time being, publishing your fitment to listings on eBay is a two-step process. First you'll have to add catalog fitment to your data in the myFitment tool, then publish your updated listings to eBay.

Note: If you are using a 3rd party listing tool, such as ChannelAdvisor or SureDone, you will need to establish a connection within myFitment. The steps can be found here.

To view your listings go to Listing Opportunities > View

You'll see the View Listings section on the left-hand side of the page.

Under view listings you can apply two different quick filters.

Selecting the box titled "listings without fitment and opportunity to add fitment" will show you listings that currently have no fitment but have fitment opportunity.

Once you have selected the box be sure to hit apply as seen below.

By selecting the box titled "listings with some fitment and opportunity to add fitment".

This will show you listings that currently have fitment but have additional fitment opportunity. Again, once you have selected the filter box be sure to hit apply as seen below.

It is important to note that there are additional filters that you can apply Under the Advanced Filter section of your listings view, However, we will link a more in depth overview of how those filters work below.

Publishing Updated Listings to eBay

Once you have applied your desired filters to your listings you will then need to

publish the updated listings to eBay.

You will do this by clicking on the Publish fitments button to the right of your listings view. Once you have selected the publish fitments button you will need to make sure

the following selections have been made.

  • Listing Platform: eBay.

  • Publish Type: You need to select Either Append Or Replace. (One of these has to be selected before you can continue. We will explain these further define further down.)

  • Once you have made your selection you will then click the Publish button.

Publish Type:

It is important to note that when selecting publish type there are two options you can select from. When you select Append, we will add any fitment we have that you do not as well as keep any fitment you already have. When you select the Replace option, we are replacing any fitment you may currently have and replacing it with our fitment information instead.
