SureDone Integration with myFitment
Updated over a week ago

How to Integrate SureDone with your myFitment Account:

  1. Contact SureDone customer support (for more information, refer to the SureDone Requesting sFTP protocol-enabled access help article) to obtain a set of secure credentials for sFTP protocol-enabled access (username & password to be shared with myFitment staff).

  2. Once you have the credentials, browse to Profile > My Connections and click “New connection

  3. In the Connection Type drop-down, select “SureDone”, enter your sFTP protocol-enabled credentials, and click “Create connection”.

Once you’ve done that, you’ll have two new folders created in the background with which SureDone may interface: Attributes and Fitment. SureDone will be watching these folders for updates, which will be provided by myFitment whenever you run one of the following updates.

How to send updates to SureDone from myFitment:

There are two types of exports you can use to get updates from myFitment. These are the:

SureDone Fitment Export (used to promote fitment already associated with your parts on eBay and/or within the myFitment dashboard, which need only be synchronize from one or both of these into SureDone) and the

eTelligence: Suredone Fitment Export (used to publish the full complement of previous unpublished fitment based on all myFitment matches, regardless if they are already associated with a listing on eBay or SureDone).

SureDone Fitment Export

To send all existing fitment data already associated with your eBay and myFitment account to SureDone, click Listings > View and search for the listings in question (select Active only if you want to send all available listing data).

1. In the listings filters

  • Select desired listings

  • Click Show

2. In the Format drop down menu Select:

  • SureDone Fitment Export

3. In the connection drop down menu select:

  • SureDone

4. Click Export these listings

eTelligence: SureDone Fitment Export

To send all fitment data myFitment matches myFitment has identified from our catalog, click Listings > View and search for the listings in question (select “Active” + “with Fitment” only if you want to send all available listing data).

1. In the listings filters

  • Select desired listings

  • Click Show

2. In the Format drop down menu Select:

  • eTellignece: SureDone Fitment Export

3. In the connection drop down menu select:

  • SureDone

4. Click Export these listings

SureDone should be ready and waiting for these exports just as soon as they transmit through. To inspect what was sent, you can see reports in myFitment > Reports.

Next Steps

How to run the Title, Price, and Category report:

1. Browse to myFitment > Reports and click “New”.

2. Choose the “eTelligence: Category Title Price Export” option from the “Report name” drop-down and click “Create Report”.

This will generate a new report that will appear in Reports, which can then be downloaded from the Reports list and integrated back into SureDone via your listing process.

*Note: Always remember that data provided from this and other “top results” data sets in myFitment should be used with oversight, given the top-performing listing for a given part could easily be a refurbished, remanufactured part or a kit listing that places value or emphasis in other areas. Please always verify that the title, price, and/or category provided pertains directly to your part and no other version or bundle. myFitment cannot/will not be held responsible for claims or complaints resulting from use of these reports.

How to edit an existing sFTP connection within myFitment:

Sometimes it may become necessary to edit your existing connection details, rather than creating a new connection entirely. The latter is always an option, but if you just need to update a password or think you may have entered typos originally, here you can find out how to expose the edit options for an existing myFitment connection.

1. Browse to https://app.myFitment.com and click the “My Connections” option from the Profile menu.

2. Click the drop-down menu containing your existing connection and select another option (any) and then switch it back

3. You may then update the original details in the previous steps.

4. Click the “Create connection” button in the bottom right corner of the page.

MyFitment Fitment Update

  • This will update existing product with a matching "guid":

    • ebayepid

    • Optionally, you may chose to map to a field other than "ebayepid" via the Fitment Field setting

    • Optionally, you may chose to use "ebaysku" as the identifier via the Match Identifier setting

  • Runs once every 4 hours and 5 minutes past the hour.
