Depending on the plan contracted with Mygocu, a fee is applied for each transaction made on the platform. This fee ranges from 1% to 7% for those who use the payment processor provided by Mygocu
From the administration panel, when creating an experience (whether a trip or an event), in the Payments and Deadlines section, you have the option to decide whether the platform management fees will be passed on to the client or not. Additionally, you can add a markup if needed.
Example 1: Pass management fee to the client
If your Mygocu fee is 3% and you decide to pass it on to the client, imagine the client was going to pay €100. The final summary will display:
€100 (Experience)
+ €3 (Platform management fee)
The client will pay a total of €103.
Example 2: Not pass management fee to the client
If your Mygocu fee is 3% and you decide NOT to pass it on to the client, imagine the client was going to pay €100. In this case:
€100 (Experience), of which €3 will go to the platform.
The client will pay €100, but the fee will be deducted from your revenue.
