Amazon FBA Integration

Connect Amazon FBA to Logiwa to track inbound shipments, mirror your Fulfillable inventory, and sync shipping documents and your product catalog.

Logiwa streamlines your warehouse management with a user-friendly self-onboarding process for sales channels. This article walks you through the available functions, setup, and operational rules for your Amazon FBA integration.

Because Amazon fulfills FBA orders itself, this integration works differently from a typical marketplace connection: Logiwa doesn't ship orders on your behalf. Instead, it keeps your warehouse records in sync with what's happening at Amazon — tracking inbound shipments, mirroring your Fulfillable inventory, and pulling in shipping documents and your product catalog.

Before You Begin

Connecting Amazon FBA to Logiwa is self-service — you'll authorize the connection directly through Amazon Seller Central and choose your own settings on the connection screen.

💡 Your FBA Dummy Warehouse & Location Are Set Up for You: Amazon FBA inventory needs to reside within a dedicated Warehouse and Warehouse Location in Logiwa, kept separate from your physical or other virtual stock. You don't need to create this yourself — Logiwa creates and configures a dedicated FBA Dummy Warehouse and Location for you as part of setting up your integration. You'll simply select it on the connection screen below.

⚠️ US Marketplace Only: This integration currently supports the US marketplace only. Support for additional Amazon marketplaces is not yet available.

Locating Your Amazon Seller ID (Merchant Token)

You'll need your Amazon Seller ID to complete the connection. In Amazon's system, this is referred to as your Merchant Token. To find it:

  1. Log in to your Amazon Seller Central account.

  2. In the top-right corner of the dashboard, hover over the Settings gear icon and select Account Info.

  3. On the Seller Account Information page, locate the Business Information box.

  4. Click Merchant Token within that section.

  5. Copy the alphanumeric string that appears — you'll paste this into the Seller ID field during connection setup.

Operational Rules & Edge Cases

To prevent fulfillment delays and inventory discrepancies, review these operational business rules.

The FBA Dummy Warehouse & Location Are the Exclusive FBA Destination

All FBA shipment and inventory data is routed exclusively to the dedicated Warehouse and Warehouse Location Logiwa sets up for you and that you select during connection setup. This keeps FBA stock clearly separated from your physical or other virtual inventory.

Inventory Synchronization Uses "Overwrite" Logic

Unlike a typical incremental adjustment, Inventory Synchronization sets the Available quantity in your FBA Dummy Warehouse & Location to exactly match the Total Supply Quantity Amazon reports for each SKU — it doesn't add or subtract from the existing balance.

💡 Why this matters: If a SKU already exists in the FBA Dummy Warehouse & Location, its quantity is overwritten to match Amazon exactly. If the SKU doesn't exist there yet, Logiwa initializes a new inventory record with the balance from Amazon's report. Every sync cycle logs the SKU, the previous quantity, the new quantity, and the timestamp, so you always have a clear audit trail.

Bill of Lading Applies Only to LTL/FTL Shipments

Bill of Lading documents are retrieved only for Less Than Truckload (LTL) and Full Truckload (FTL) shipments. Small Parcel Delivery (SPD) shipments are not supported for this document type.

Document Sync Covers Shipments From the Last 24 Hours

The Bill of Lading and Shipping Label syncs run every 15 minutes, but each run only checks shipment orders created within the last 24 hours. If a shipment's documents weren't available on Amazon's side within that window, reach out to Support so the documents can be retrieved manually.

ℹ️ Note — Split Inbound Shipments: When Amazon splits a main FBA inbound shipment into multiple separate shipments, each split receives its own unique Shipment ID from Amazon. Since the integration maps orders on a 1:1 basis using this ID (Shipment Order Code = FBA-{Shipment Id}), each split shipment is automatically created as a separate, independent Shipment Order in Logiwa. There's no manual consolidation step required — the sync (running every 10 minutes) picks up each new Shipment ID as it becomes available and creates the corresponding order individually.

Inventory Synchronization (Amazon FBA → Logiwa)

Cadence & Trigger: Scheduled sync running every 10 minutes.

Business Rules: Syncs the Fulfillable Quantity — units physically available at Amazon fulfillment centers — into your FBA Dummy Warehouse & Location using the overwrite logic described above.

Log Access & Support

Error Classifications & Diagnostics

Error Type

Common Causes

System Behavior

Connection & Feed Failures

Logiwa cannot retrieve data, or Amazon rejects a feed.

The workflow stops immediately to prevent incorrect data from being written, and an email alert is sent.

Individual Record Failures

A single shipment, inventory record, or product fails to process.

The error is logged, an email notification is sent with the specific SKU or Channel Order Number, and the workflow continues processing the remaining items (skip & continue).

Every system event captures the following diagnostic markers (where applicable):

  • Timestamp

  • API Endpoint

  • Status (Success / Failed)

  • HTTP Status Code

  • Error Description / API Response Body

Every successful operation is also logged with a timestamp, the action performed, and the resulting quantities or Feed IDs — giving you a complete audit trail in both directions.

💡 Note on Log Access: Processing logs are not accessible via the Logiwa user interface dashboard, though log details for specific transactions can be shared upon request. All troubleshooting inquiries must be directed to the Support team by opening a ticket through HubSpot. This integration is also monitored by the Logiwa Integration Team.

ℹ️ When opening a support ticket, include: your Amazon Seller ID; the Amazon Shipment Id or SKU involved (if applicable); the time of the error; and any error message shown in the notification email.
