The google play developer account is needed for the app submission for android devices.
Important Note: There is a one-time $25 enrollment fee and you will need to sign up with a Gmail account and set up 2-Step Verification.
Step 1
Go to the google console https://play.google.com/console/signup
Step 2
Login into your google account and ensure you want this account to be the owner of the google play console for your android app.
Step 3
Choose to enroll as a company or business and then click 'Get started'
Next, you will see the following screen and click 'Continue'.
Step 5
First add your developer name
After you will need to create a payments profile
Once you’ve selected a payment profile, you will be asked to input your DUNS number. If you don't have a D-U-N-S number yet please refer to our article.

You will then be asked to verify your DUNS details and ‘Confirm’.
To continue with the enrollment, you will need to fill in your organization's details, as shown in the screenshot below.
On the next page, you will need to enter your Company’s phone number and email address. Note: These will be available on the Google Play Store listing once your app is published.
Step 6
Review your D-U-N-S information to make sure all details are accurate, then click the Confirm button.
Step 7
In this step, simply confirm that you’re linking a payment profile to your organization. Click the Next button.
Step 8
Now, provide additional organization details, including your Organization Size, Organization Phone Number, and Organization Website. After filling in these fields, click the Next button.
Step 9
Now, you need to enter the information that will be public on the Google Play Store. First, provide the Developer Phone Number and Developer Email Address.
To complete this step, accept the terms and click the Next button.
Step 10
You can provide information about your previous experience using the Google Play Console. Next, select the appropriate option regarding whether you have used another Google Play Console account in the past six months.
After that, click the Next button.
Step 11
In this step, indicate how many apps you plan to publish in the next 12 months. This will likely be 1, but feel free to enter a suitable number if you have multiple stores.
For the next question, it’s mandatory to select “No” for earning money on Google Play, as Napps currently does not support paid apps. If you wish to charge for your app, please reach out to your Onboarding Specialist.
Step 12
In this step, select the option “None of the above.” If, after reviewing the other options, you believe you fall under any of them, please contact your Onboarding Specialist, as this could lead to issues with your app submission.
Once you’ve made your selection, click the Next button.
Step 13
In the next step, provide the contact information for Google to reach you if any issues happen during the app creation process or afterwards. This information will not be visible to the public.
Please enter an email address that your team checks daily to ensure you don’t miss any additional steps that Google may require in certain situations.
After scrolling down, you will find the option to select your Preferred Language for communication from Google. Choose the language that is most comfortable for your team.
Next, fill in the Contact Phone Number. Ensure that this phone number is actively monitored and that someone is available to answer calls. This way, you won’t miss any important calls or verifications from Google.
Then click the Next button to proceed to the next step.
Step 14
For this step, simply check the first two boxes to confirm that you have read and agreed to both terms and agreements. Additionally, you need to confirm that you are over 18 years old.
Once you’ve made your selections, click the Create Account and Pay button.
Step 15
Now, you should see a pop-up displaying your payment methods if you already have any added to your account. If not, you can add a new payment option to cover the $25 fee for the Google Play account.
Step 16
After completing the payment, you’ll be redirected to your Play Console. Next, you’ll need to create the app.
Navigate to the “Home” tab in the sidebar of your Google Play Console, then click on the “Create app” button.
Step 17
Enter your app’s name, which will appear as its title on the Google Play Store.
For the next options, select “App” as the type, and choose “Free” for the pricing model. Napps currently does not support Game or Paid Apps, so please ensure you select these options accurately.
Step 18
Check both declaration boxes to confirm, which will enable the “Create App” button. Once enabled, click “Create App” to proceed.
This part of the process is complete, but a few additional steps remain to fully finish the setup.
