When you send a post for feedback or review, it will show up in the Collaborate page. This space is designed to help you work together with your team to improve, collaborate and finalize your content together, before publishing.

Collaborate panels

Left sidepanel – List of posts to collaborate on

In the left sidepanel you'll find a list of all posts waiting for collaboration, or has already received feedback. If there is an update to a post there will be a small blue dot next to the posts profile image – just like any other messaging app. 👋🏻

If the review flow setting is enabled, each post is marked by its status:

  • Feedback = a feedback post, waiting for input or ongoing collaboration

  • Review = sent for formal approval

  • Approved = approved and ready to be published

You can click the filter buttons to view only posts with a specific status.

Middle panel – Post preview and edit feedbackers

Clicking a post in Collaborate opens a preview in the middle panel. Here, you can:

  • Read the current draft

  • See the attached image or media

  • Click see more to view the full post content

This is helpful for reviewing and giving feedback on posts before they’re published – how will this look like on LinkedIn? 🤔

At the bottom of the preview, you’ll also see standard LinkedIn-style interaction buttons. These buttons mimic the real LinkedIn experience, giving you a sense of how the post will look and feel once it’s published.

Right side panel - comments and suggestions

This is where the magic happens - Once you’ve read through the draft, the right panel is where you give your input. You can choose between adding comments or making suggestions. Scroll down to learn how both options work.

Two ways to collaborate: Comments or Suggestions

Once you choose a post, you’ll see the chat panel on the right. Depending on your feedback style, you can choose between:

Comments - Use this if you want to chat about the text and give general feedback.

  • These appear as speech bubbles - grey if others write, blue if it's you.

  • You can ask questions, point out improvements, or just give a thumbs-up.

Suggestions - Use this if you want to give concrete improvements to the post.

  • The entire post will appear in your chat input field, ready for you to edit and give concrete suggestions for improvement, that the post author can use in two mouse clicks.

Once you're happy with your comment or suggestion, send it.

Buttons and actions

Once you're inside the Collaborate panel, you’ll notice several helpful buttons that make it easier to manage suggestions, give feedback, and keep the process moving smoothly.

Here’s what each one does:

  • Use idea button - First, this gives you the ability to apply your own changes to the suggestion before using actually using the idea. Once you press "Update post" it will change the text in preview and the post instantly.

  • Show changes button – This lets you see what has been changed from your original post. NB: If you already have used the idea, there will not show any changes.

  • Three dots (...) next to the people collaborating on the post - Opens a menu where you can edit feedbackers - add new ones or remove someone no longer needed. NB: The new feedbackers will receive the same priority as the original post was sent with.

  • Save a copy button - Lets say you're really happy with your post, save a copy to use later before updating with suggestions or just create your own copy of the post to work on separately, without affecting the original. You will then find the copy in draft.

  • Edit post button - If you want to edit the text or the type of post and upload media or documents etc. then you have to click this button. Then you'll be sent to the content editor to do all the changes you want. When you're happy, click the Save button in the content editor and you will be redirected to the post in Collaborate page – and the post will be updated with your changes.

  • Delete post button - Be aware, this deletes the post from the platform. Use this with care, and be 100% sure you're not using the post later.

  • Publish button - This contains the same options as from the content editor (except ask for feedback 🤭). Publish directly, schedule ahead of time or recommend the post to people in your organization or team.

These actions help keep the feedback loop organized, especially when collaborating across teams or giving structured input.

Send to review & approval

If review flow is enabled, you can still ask for feedback and collaborate on the post as usual. However, when you're ready to publish, the post will be:

  • Sent to your team leader or admin for approval

Once approved, you can publish the post as normal.

This process ensures content meets your organization’s quality standards while still supporting collaboration and creativity.
