📍NAVIREC MOBILE APP

The Navirec Mobile App is a mobile version of the web solution that is intended for use by all Navirec customers and their partners. The app is especially useful for drivers who cannot use a computer at all times.

The mobile version of Navirec is constantly being developed to make it as user-friendly and multifunctional as possible. Feedback from app users is very much welcome so that we can take into account the wishes of our customers in our developments.

You can leave your feedback by typing directly into our chat window or on Google Play and the App Store.

📍 LOGGING IN

You can download the Navirec mobile app to your smartphone for free from the App Store and Google Play.

Use the same username and password to sign in as in the web solution. Estonian citizens/residence permit holders can also use the Smart ID login option that has to be activated in the Navirec solution's personal settings.

📍 MENUS

MAP

When you log in, a map view opens, which is also the first icon in the menu bar. You can change the order of the icons in the app settings ⚙️.

On the map, you can see all your vehicles with the corresponding status icons (parked, moving, GPS error, etc.). Vehicles in close proximity to each other are grouped together (can be switched off in the settings) and zoomed in on a separate map.

In the lower right corner of the map, you will find the "Filters" and "Map Layers" icons. Under filters, you can make the statuses of vehicles visible and invisible. Under the map layers, you can change the map view to your liking (satellite map, road map, hybrid map, etc.).

You can also add Google Traffic information on the map from map settings to make route planning even more efficient.

AREAS

Under the area's icon, you can view all the areas you have previously created (e.g petrol stations). For more information on creating sites, see the guide here.

Area groups can be viewed and activated/deactivated by clicking on the filter icon in the upper right corner.

You can use the search bar to quickly find a specific area by typing the name (part) of that area.

By clicking on the name of the area, the application takes you to the location of the area on the map and also allows the driver to navigate there quickly.

VEHICLES

By clicking on the vehicles menu, you can see all the vehicles, devices, and machines equipped with your company's GPS device. The icon in front of the vehicle name indicates the status (driving, parking, etc.).

If there is additional information shown in brackets after the vehicle name, it's the driver who's currently using the vehicle. This may be an employee permanently assigned to use the vehicle or a person identified by driver identification.

Under the vehicle name, you can see the current location, the start time of the last event (e.g start of parking or driving), the duration of the last event, the current fuel level in the tank, and the ECO score (for the CAN solution).

Under the filters icon in the upper right corner, you can view the status meanings and switch them on / off, as well as view and activate/deactivate vehicle groups.

Clicking on the name of the vehicle opens a detailed view of the day. The map at the top of the screen shows the current location of the vehicle and other information related to the vehicle. You can also select another date to display by pressing the green date bar. Pressing the Show all day button opens the driving history.

Below the date bar, totals are shown, such as the distance traveled during the day, vehicle mileage, idle time, maximum travel speed, refueled fuel, and more. Scrolling down displays the saved events in time with additional information.

By clicking on the settings icon ⚙️, you can change the map view to your liking and activate/deactivate the events to be saved.

DRIVERS

Clicking on the Drivers menu opens a list of drivers/employees added as users of the Navirec system, with their respective statuses and additional information for vehicles.

Under Filters, you can change the visibility of statuses and groups of drivers (users), as well as turn them on and off.

Pressing on the driver's name opens the detailed view in the same way as for vehicles.

RESERVATIONS

Under the Reservations menu, you can see who and which vehicles have been booked and for what period. You can scroll through the dates by dragging them left and right.

By clicking on the made reservation, you will see its details - the name of the vehicle, the time of the reservation, the type of trip specified and the comments added.

To add a new reservation, click on the "New reservation" button and fill in the required fields. Don't forget to save your reservation.

SETTINGS

In the Settings menu, you can change the account, time zone, and app language. Also, whether your location is shown on the map, nearby vehicles are grouped, and whether adding additional information to trips is allowed.

Under Application notifications, you can set which notifications are sent to your phone.

Under Navigation settings, you can change the visibility and order of the menu icons that appear in the bottom menu bar.

In the Edit totals menu, you can change the visibility and order of the data displayed during trips.

📍 NAVIGATION

The mobile app has a separate function for easy navigation.

When you hold your finger on the map for a few seconds at the location you want to travel to, a pop-up window opens. Click on the green "Add new pin" button and a pin will appear on the map. Pressing the "Navigate here" button allows you to open the route with any navigation app that has been downloaded to your phone.

📍 DRIVING HISTORY

Select a vehicle from the list and click on "view day total". Then select the desired date.

Then press "Pay" (triangle icon) and you will see the driving history for the selected day. You can see driving routes with additional information (speed, fuel level, sensor information, etc.) by dragging the arrow on the timeline. Pressing the "i" (info) icon opens a summary of the day's trips (driving time, average speed, ECO score, etc.)

You can also change the settings for the additional information displayed on the map and the type of map.
