📍WHAT IS ECO DRIVE
With the introduction of the ECO Drive solution, it is possible to teach drivers a more economical driving style and save significantly on costs.
By monitoring the driving habits of drivers, you significantly increase the economy of the car fleet and the driving safety of your workers, transported goods, and other road users.
📍HOW ECO DRIVE WORKS
Vehicles are equipped with a GPS device that allows monitoring of the driving habits of your workers and gives them an ECO score accordingly.
The ECO score is a score given to the driver/vehicle in a 10-point system, calculated by taking into account the driver's driving style errors per 100 km or 1 hour. The highest possible Eco score is 10.
Eco Drive takes the following events into account when calculating the Eco score:
sudden accelerations;
sudden braking;
passing sharp turns;
keeping the engine idling (idle time).
The principles of calculating the ECO Score and taking into account the sensitivity of the events will be coordinated between your company and Navirec so that the ECO Drive solution will help you achieve your desired goals.
It is also possible to install an audible signal in the vehicle to warn the driver of a careless driving style, and notifications of ECO events can be ordered by e-mail (eg to the fleet manager).
📍ECO SCORE AND EVENTS MOBILE APP
The Navirec mobile app shows the ECO score of both vehicles and drivers.
In the list of vehicles, the score calculated on the basis of the last 30 days is indicated under the name of the vehicle. By clicking on the name of the vehicle, you can also see the ECO score for each day separately by scrolling down in the driving history.
You will also see ECO events in the Driving History if their recording is activated in the settings.
📍ECO SCORE AND EVENTS IN THE REPORT
You can also create a driving style report for drivers. ECO Drive reports allow you to better analyze fleet usage and costs that may result from uneconomical driving
In the report, you can summarize all ECO events and the driver's ECO score, compare the driving style of different drivers, for example by month, and much more.
