Changing the extraction time for an integration can be necessary for optimizing data flow and system performance. To change your system extraction time, follow the steps below:

Step 1 - Access the server

You will need to log into the server where Netstock/SIA is installed. This is usually done using remote access to the server.

Step 2 - Search for Task Scheduler Application

After login into your server on the bottom left of your screen, click on the start button (block 1) or the search button (block 2).

After clicking on either the start button or the search button, type “Task Scheduler” to search for the task scheduler application.

Click on this application highlighted in red.

Click on the Task Scheduler Library as highlighted below.

Step 3 - Finding the Netstock/SIA scheduled tasks

When you click on the Task Scheduler Library it will open a list of tasks, look for a scheduled task called “Netstock your_instance_name Data Extraction” and for SIA customers it will be “Sage Inventory Advisor your_instance_name Data Extraction”.

Example:

Example for SIA customers:

Step 4 - Edit the Data Extraction task

Click on the Data Extraction task.

Right click on the task and it will give you a drop down menu then click on “Properties” on the drop down menu.

When you click on Properties it will give you a window that has multiple tabs, click on the tab that says “Triggers” as shown below(block 1). After clicking on Triggers it will show you the trigger details of the scheduled task. Click on “Edit” as shown below(block 2).

After clicking on “Edit” it will give you an Edit Trigger window with the time in which your scheduled task will be triggered. You can therefore adjust the time which you would like the data to be extracted from your database as you wish.

When you are done adjusting the time, it’s important to click on OK on all the windows and close the Task Scheduler at the end.
