Netstock uses two scheduled tasks to maintain communication with the customer ERP server. These scheduled tasks are created during the initial install. The first scheduled task is the Get Files task, the task runs every minute and maintains communication between the Netstock integration servers and the customer ERP server. The second task is the Data Extraction task, this is a task that is scheduled to run every day at a set time to extract new updated data from the customer ERP which will be used to update the customer Netstock instance.

Running the Scheduled tasks

The two tasks we have mentioned above require a specific user account to run them. When we install the Netstock connector to the customer ERP server, it will create the two scheduled tasks and they will automatically be using the `SYSTEM` user account to run them.

By default, Netstock uses the SYSTEM account. This prevents issues related to changing user credentials, as using individual user accounts would necessitate updating credentials whenever they change. For these reasons, the SYSTEM account is the preferred option for running Netstock/SIA scheduled tasks. Note that changing the scheduled task user would require a reinstall or registry update.
