This article explains how to use the 1-Click Report™ which generates a summary report of a collision that you can choose to share with your insurance company or others, streamlining the claims process.
What is a 1-Click Report?
If you were in a collision, you can choose to send a report to your insurance company, or email it to yourself (or anyone else) using our 1-Click Report™ feature.
This summary report includes four crucial pieces of information: your speed at the time of the collision, force of impact, your location, and a video clip of the incident. This can be used to make your insurance claims process easy and immediate.
The 1-Click Report feature is not currently available for the Nexar One dash cam
How to generate a 1-Click Report™
Here are the steps to generate a 1-Click Report:
1. Open the Nexar app.
2. Go to the Videos tab (tap it on the bottom menu).
3. Tap on the Clip of the incident you wish to report.
4. On this screen, tap the share button on the right-top of the video.
5. Now you can select from a few options:
Publish with Nexar - will allow Nexar to share this clip on social media.
Get Insurance report - send the insurance report to your preferred recipient.
6. Click "Next" on the bottom of the video drawer.
7. Select your desired share option:
Your Insurer - Enter the name and a list will be opened to complete it. Choose Email Collision and enter the insurer's email address
Rideshare company - Type the company name and email address
Email to other - Type the email address you want to share it to
After choosing your way of sharing, an instant email containing a PDF link will be sent.
