How to enable international SMS for your account
International SMS outside the US and Canada is not enabled by default. To request access:
Go to the Add Guest page in your NextMe dashboard
Click Request Access below the phone number field
Our support team will review your request and enable international SMS if your account qualifies
Important limitations by country
SMS works differently in every country. Key things to be aware of:
Reply limitations: Some countries restrict guests from sending replies. This means guests in those countries may not be able to confirm or cancel service by replying "1" or "9".
Delivery differences: Message delivery speeds and reliability vary by country and carrier.
Fraud prevention: Due to the growing threat of SMS fraud internationally, we are gradually expanding support to additional countries over time.
Review the Country Guidelines for a full breakdown of SMS rules by country.
