After your first night of sleep with Smartbuds, the Trends page in the app will begin to fill with data. Here’s a quick guide to what those numbers mean:
Slow wave count
Slow waves are deep pulses of brain activity that mark your most restorative sleep. A higher slow wave count reflects better rest and recovery.
Slow wave time
The minutes you spend in deep, restorative sleep. More time here supports recovery for body and brain.
Sleep efficiency
The share of time in bed you’re actually asleep. Higher efficiency means less tossing and more consolidated rest.
Drift-off time
How long it takes you to fall asleep after starting a session. Shorter times suggest healthy sleep; longer times can reflect stress or irregular habits.
Total wakes
The number of times you wake during the night. Fewer wake-ups mean less fragmented sleep and deeper recovery.
Total sleep
Your overall hours asleep. Needs vary by person, but enough rest is key to energy, focus, and performance.
