Overview
When candidates submit reference information on their application, users can complete references checks via phone or email and capture those results directly through Nimble. Learn how to create a reference template to be used when conducting reference checks through Nimble!
To create a reference template, click your name in the top right corner of the page and then click Settings. Navigate to the reference section and click the + New Reference Form button.
Add a title to the reference form and set the user permissions by clicking on the Permissions dropdown and selecting which users can use this reference check template.
Begin customizing the reference form by adding questions by clicking on a question type to add the item to your reference form. You’ll also have the option to mark each question as required once you click into the item and begin customizing the content for each of the questions.

If you need to edit or delete an existing reference, you can do so by navigating to the existing form on the settings page and clicking the arrow on the right.
From there you can edit and save the reference form. To delete a reference form, click the Delete button in the bottom left corner of the opened form.
As a Super Admin you have the ability to edit and save changes on any of the organization-wide reference forms or your personal reference forms.
