Overview

When a School Admin or District User submits a job request, Super and District Admin have the ability to manage the approval and posting process through Nimble. Learn how to review, edit and post job requests below!

Reviewing a job request

Log in as a Super or District Admin and navigate to the internal jobs page. To check if you have jobs that need to be reviewed, click Job Status on the top left in the sidebar filter. Once expanded you will see the full list of job statuses including pending approval, draft, active open and closed and archived. To view jobs in pending approval, click clear all and the select Pending Approval.

From there you will see all of the jobs waiting for approval on the jobs list. For each request pending approval, you have the option to merge the request into a pre-existing pooled role, edit and post as an individual job, or return the request to the sender with a note asking for more information.

Merging requests

You can merge the job request with an existing job posting either by clicking the merge icon from the line item, or once you open the job, by clicking the merge job button in the top right corner. If you merge the job with an existing job, this will add vacancy to your dashboard. To learn more about managing vacancies in Nimble, click here.

Edit and post a job request

If you’d like to post the job as a new posting, you can make any necessary edits, save and preview and then post. You can also save the job as a draft and return to it later.

Returning a job request

Super and District Admin have the ability to return a job request with a note on why the request is being returned. To do so, you can hover over the back arrow icon (between archive and merge icons).

Once you click the return button, you will be prompted to include a note with the returned request. This note will go to the sender via email, linking them back to the job posting that will now show in their account as a draft job, which they can then choose to resubmit.

Note: You can see who submitted the request by hovering over the “Needs Approval” status on the jobs page.
